Do You Know?

1. If you were to die today, do you know for sure you would go to heaven?
2. If you found yourself standing before God and He asked you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?” What would be your answer?

If you have any doubts about the answers to these questions, do you know that right now, this very moment, you can settle those doubts forever and know for certain that you have a place in heaven, prepared especially for you?

You Can!

God has made salvation so easy for us because He has already done the hard part. How, you ask? The simple answer to this and the first two questions above is, JESUS. God’s Word, the Bible, makes it clear:

Recognize God’s Love

• “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
• “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Realize Our Sin

• “As it is written, 'There is no one righteous, not even one.'” Romans 3:10
• “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

• “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
• “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” Acts 3:19
• “That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10
• “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

As you can see, God loves us more that we can possibly understand, but we are separated from Him because we have sinned. That’s why God sent Jesus — to bridge that separation and bring us back to God through salvation. All we have to do is accept His free gift!

If you would like to do that, simply pray a prayer like the one below right now. God knows your heart. He is not so concerned with your words as He is with your attitude and desire.

“Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you has my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be.”
